Dear Friends and Colleagues, as I am gearing up to climb 10 Colorado 14-ers with a 10-pound backpack for 10 consecutive days, I am requesting your support to help me bring clean water and Living Water to the people of Malawi. Just one dollar provides clean water for 1.7 people for up to 5 years! I aim to raise 10x14x10x10=$14,000 by July 15!

You see, my good friends Jennifer and @Mike Navolio climb Kilimanjaro every year and raise upwards of $200,000 every time! This year was supposed to have been their 10th annual climb, but… the grand plans had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. I want to help Mike and Jennifer, and the Child Legacy International to bring clean water to the people across the globe. So, I decided to cancel my annual trip to Maui this summer, and instead, climb ten 14-ers in the Rockies.

Your financial and prayerful support is what will help me through the upcoming challenge. And in doing so, you will save entire villages from one of the world’s leading causes of death – waterborne disease.

Child Legacy International has been repairing water wells since 2008; even though they have repaired more than 4,000 broken pumps in Malawi — which impacts almost 8 million people (more than 45% of the country’s population) — there is still a great need. Between 35%-40% of handpumps in the rural areas are non-functioning, meaning that millions of Malawians are having to find alternative water sources, and most of those sources are unprotected. We feel that those who can help, should, and in the case of well repair, a little goes a long, long way!

Thank you, Friends!
