Kevin & Lesa are the proud parents of 4 children who have blessed them with 6 grandchildren. They are runners, skiers and hikers and love the outdoors! They have previously climbed 4 mountains above 18,000’ including the Kilimanjaro 2013 and the Aconcagua 2018 Clean Water climbs! They also participated in the 2016 American Summit Climb up Mt. Elbert. In 2018, Kevin will be attempting his second Summit of Kilimanjaro and they both will be participating in the American Summit in Colorado and the 2ndAnnual South American Clean Water Climb in February of 2019. They have a heart for making Jesus known throughout the nations.
Kevin and Lesa have visited the Child Legacy project site in Malawi on 3 occasions and will be going for a fourth time in 2018. They climbed Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and Mt. Elbert with the Clean Water Climb team in 2013, 2016 and 2018. However, the greater challenge is caring for and meeting the needs of the poor enduring hardships in Malawi. They have witnessed the malnutrition and water borne disease first hand on trips to the local villages. 25% of children in these villages die before the age of 5. We can put an end to this by providing clean water…repairing and restoring as many water wells as possible. In addition, the Child Legacy water repair team will share the Gospel in these villages, bringing both physical and spiritual renewal. Their goal is to raise $25,000, which will repair 20 wells for the benefit of 42,000 people–clean water and the hope of Christ!
Please consider partnering with them.
“People soon become thirsty again after drinking this water. But the water I give them takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
