Are you a mountain hiker? If so, then you know the benefit of hard physical preparation. You have experienced the exhilaration of cold, crisp mountain air and spectacular scenery. God has whispered to you along the trails, and you have made lifelong friendships and created indelible memories. Hiking has forever changed my life as it does all hikers.
Not a hiker? Self-doubts? Too comfortable? I’m 72 years old now and ten years ago a typical non-athletic male, but I asked, “Why Not”, instead of “Why” when Mike said “Follow me”. (Almost sounds Biblical). Hiking will be the high point (pun intended) of your life.
This year I’ve signed up to do three separate CLI hikes, Machu Picchu, Mt Quandary, and Everest Base Camp, to support CLI’s mission and get a little closer to God in the journey. I will match each ONE dollar donated on my behalf with TWO dollars from me to support CLI.
