I was born in Mexico City; the only girl and oldest of three more brothers. My parents had a great marriage of 39 years until my father went to be with the LORD. My mother is still with us, I am so grateful for that. I have beautiful memories of my childhood with my parents and my three brothers.
I am the proudest mother of three stunning children, two girls and one boy, and now another three, they are my children’s spouses; and I am also blessed with six grandchildren, ages from 4 to 16 – they are the light of my life. I cannot thank GOD enough for all of them.
I came to the USA with my son, his family and one of my daughters ten years ago. This amazing country gave me not just the opportunity to build a business that has been changing the lives of many people, but the most remarkable thing for me was that I got to know JESUS here. Before I knew about HIM, but I never was told that HE loves me as I am, and that HE wanted to have a personal relationship with me – that changed my life forever. I began to look around me, start volunteering, and since then I have been having astonishing experiences; I’ve seen faces grieving with no hope transformed into smiles, just by letting them know that someone loves them and cares for them.
I have a Bachelor’s degree on Psychology. I worked for a couple of businesses until I decided to explore the entrepreneurial world. I started a company called Visa Solutions together with my son.Nowadays our company is a very successful one. I just retired this last October 2018, and now live in Mexico but I come to the USA as often as I can since it was my home also for the last ten years. But way long before my retirement, and through my volunteering I realized that there is so much more to do. I know that we all have a mission to fulfill in this earth, and I was looking for mine.
When I first heard about water wells, a few years ago, I felt strong in my heart that was my mission. Later on, GOD gave me more precise instructions about it; two hundred water wells that our company will provide as a donation on behalf of our clients’ given trust and business to us. That’s a huge mission and I was sure it was HIS calling for me to do. I began the quest, but for a long time the doors were not opening. Two very strong reminders kept me going:
Where there is no vision, the people perish
And this quote that I once heard:
“Someone is waiting for me in the other side of my obedience.”
Then through my pursuit, I met Mike and his beautiful wife Jennifer at the M3 Missions Conference at Lakewood Church, and they told me all about the Clean Water Climb project. In that moment I felt that this time the doors were being opened, and everything began to fall into place.
Now I am getting ready to start living my GOD’s given dreamon July 2019,and I cannot thank enough my HEAVENLY FATHER for it, for Mike and Jennifer, for Child Legacy, for Church Project, and all the people involved in this awe-inspiring project as well!
This is what I know GOD is leading me to do for the rest of my life, and I thank HIM for putting this mission in my hands. This is only the beginning of this steadfast path, and I know there will be many challenges to face and battles to fight, but I am relying on GOD’s Word that says:
And I am sure of this, that HE who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of JESUS CHRIST. Philippians 1:6 ESV
