Malawi’s citizens need clean water. In fact, a child in Malawi dies every 15 seconds from complications related to unsafe drinking water. The best news, together we can solve the problem. Repairing one water well only costs $1250.00 and supplies over 2000 residents with clean water for five years.
This January, I’ve joined group of charitable women and men who will climb Aconcagua to raise money to repair water wells in Malawi. All of us have previously climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and have been to Malawi to assist in repairing wells.
Empathy, compassion, and philanthropy are three characteristics I strive to obtain (although I often fall short of my goals). Having been to Malawi and seen the benefits and hope we can provide, I want to continue to contribute my time and effort to help the people of Malawi.
